NIQR Annual General Meeting 2019
The 28th Annual General Meeting of NIQR was held at 7.30 PM on Saturday, the 21st September 2019 at Hotel Radha Regent, Chennai.
Mr. S. Rajasekaran, National President welcomed the members.
Mr. C. V. Gowri Sankar, National Secretary presented the Minutes of the 27th AGM held on 24th September 2018 and the Minutes of EGM held on 3rd April 2019 and got them confirmed by the members. He then presented the annual report for 2018-2019 and it was passed by members.
Mr. V. Raghavan, National Treasurer presented the financial statement of accounts for the period 01-04-2018 to 31-03-2019 of all the branches except Bangalore branch which will be added soon. After debate, the same was passed by the members. He then proposed to appoint M/s. K. GOPAL RAO & CO. Chartered Accountants (FRN:000956S) as Statutory Auditors of NIQR-HQ for the FY 2018-19 and it was unanimously passed.
In the open session, two points were raided by members
One member appreciated the series of Awareness Program on Industry 4.0 conducted and wanted more ECMs to be involved in it
Request for starting a program for startups – President agreed to look into it; and added members should come forward with plans for such initiatives
Mr. C. V. Gowri Sankar proposed the vote of thanks.
The AGM came to a conclusion with the National Anthem followed by Dinner.
